The Pinned to Purpose Podcast

The P2P Podcast features authentic conversations with guests from around the world, created to offer hope and insight to people living with mental health challenges. Its purpose is simple: help people avoid getting “pinned,” or offer a hand-up and a fresh perspective when they are.

Through the “pinned” metaphor shared in the home-page video, we work to shatter stigma by recognizing our shared humanity and vulnerability. No one is weak for struggling. Being in a weakened state—often for reasons unseen to others—is a natural response to carrying heavy, invisible burdens.

Podcast guests share lived experience with mental health challenges and what helped them move forward. They point to practical ideas, supportive resources, trusted people, and approaches that have worked for others. Their stories help reframe harsh self-talk into the kind of compassion we would offer a close friend. A constant reminder runs through every episode: don’t go it alone. There is no shame in raising your hand for a hand-up and beginning—or continuing—a healing journey with the support of a friend, family member, or medical professional.

You are not alone. We are all human. As one guest, former “Strongest man in the world” Hugo Girard, once said: “Life is tough…and when it is tough, it is smart—and a sign of strength—to ask for help. It is not weakness.”

Get well. Be well!  And enjoy the podcast.
